Hubby was a golf course superintendent for 17 years. A friend in the industry gave him a box of new range balls to use on our back acreage. So of course I had to locate cups, pins and flags. I was kind of shocked that most of the ones I could find on this site were five section poles. I was certain my husband was not going to be happy with those. But when I saw the Callaway name, I knew they had to be better. These are 3 section metal poles. He hasn’t used them yet, but he did assemble one and stuck it in the ground. Satisfied it would do the job, he assembled the other two. We live in a very windy rural location so, as a precaution, he will remove the pins when not in use. But overall he is satisfied with the product. The only thing that could have been nicer in his opinion is if the flags were numbered, as he wanted 3 to set at different distances. But for most people that’s not a big deal.
